Denver – the scene

(I recently wrote about a weekend bargain to Denver. If you’re considering it, I thought you might like to know & see a little more about the city.)

Just a few photos to set the scene. This was September 2015 and my son and I had a “guys’ weekend” in Denver for his birthday.

We attended a baseball game. And also a football game. We walked everywhere. Here are just a few photos of Downtown Denver so that you can get more of the picture and see why we felt comfortable in this city and enjoyed it so much.

The iconic clock tower at 16th Street. A landmark which leads you to fabulous restaurants, bars, shopping and mini golf!

Street art. Bison, I believe they were.
Rather than a food truck, they had a Boutique truck!
Fabulous heritage buildings, renovated.
This jazz man had been playing this corner for a decade. So friendly & fabulous!
